Born in South Africa, Bruce developed an early passion for the African wilderness during his childhood spent in the bushveld. His many years in the African bush as a guide and conservationist have informed his knowledge and passion for the animals he sculpts in bronze. He is self-taught, and his technique captures the essential movement, spirit, and behavior of his subjects. From miniatures to monumental pieces, Bruce's sculptures aim to position African wildlife as the celebrated and respected creatures we are fortunate enough to share this earth with.
